Overview of SUVIDHA

Sushruta Vishranthi Dhama Limited, fondly known as SUVIDHA, was incorporated in 2004 with a vision to create a serene, self-sustained retirement haven that combines comfort, community living, and natural beauty. The name SUVIDHA itself is an acronym of the company’s identity and embodies the spirit of convenience, care, and holistic living that the village promises.

The project is spread across 27 acres of land acquired by the Company, with a clear title and thoughtfully developed infrastructure. Nestled amidst lush greenery, SUVIDHA is located just 19 km from MG Road, off Kanakapura Road, offering easy access to the city while retaining the tranquillity of countryside living.

While anyone, irrespective of age, may invest in the Company, permanent residency in this retirement village requires at least one member of a twosome to be 50 years or older. This ensures that the community fosters a vibrant, secure, and like-minded atmosphere for senior living, without excluding younger family members from investing in its future.

Living Spaces

SUVIDHA has been designed to promote independent yet community-oriented living. The village comprises 200 thoughtfully designed cottages, each crafted as a single dwelling unit with a built-up area of 925 sq. ft. The general layout of each unit includes:

  • A combined living, dining, and kitchenette space
  • One bedroom with an attached bathroom
  • An additional multi-purpose room (usable as a smaller bedroom, study, or kitchen)
  • A second bathroom located across the entrance lobby
  • Two verandahs that open to fresh air and landscaped surroundings

This layout ensures that residents enjoy privacy, comfort, and flexibility in their living arrangements.

Infrastructure & Amenities

SUVIDHA goes beyond being just a retirement community; it is a self-sufficient village with modern infrastructure and essential amenities:

  • Club House with gymnasium and recreation facilities
  • Health Care Centre equipped for primary and emergency care, including facilities for dressings, minor surgical procedures, and essential life-saving equipment (oxygen concentrator, pulse oximeter, defibrillator, etc.). A qualified nurse is available daily, and a resident doctor ensures continuous medical guidance.
  • Water security through treatment, softening, and reverse osmosis purification plants
  • Sewage treatment plant for environmental sustainability
  • A 3-acre waterbody, formed by damming a perennial stream, which adds to the charm and ecological balance of the village.
  • Centralized Kitchen with dining in or delivery options.
  • Housekeeping services are provided as per schedule for cleaning the cottages as well as washing dishes.

Approach & Accessibility

The village is easily accessible via the approach road leading from Kanakapura Road through Vajramuneeshwara Temple. Street lighting has been provided along the temple road as well as the entire stretch to the main gate, ensuring safe access even after dusk.

Recreation & Wellness

The partially completed Club House already offers a fully equipped gymnasium featuring a treadmill, cycling equipment, a home gym station, and yoga space. Indoor sports like table tennis are available, while outdoor recreation includes badminton courts, with tennis and swimming facilities planned for future development. These provisions ensure that residents enjoy a physically active lifestyle along with social bonding.

Landscaping & Green Spaces

One of SUVIDHA’s most cherished features is its commitment to nature. Nearly 10 acres of landscaped greenery surround the cottages and common areas. With over 3,000 trees planted, the community nurtures biodiversity and enhances the quality of living for residents. Annual tree planting drives further enrich the landscape, while an in-house plant nursery supports gardening and plantation activities, adding to the verdant charm of the village.
